I am Norselord.. leader of the free elves of H4.. and also a Spanish general.. :D
Confused.. where AOE and LOTR combine.. the name norselord was created..
I was good initially, then i became better, and by the time the first age of AOE was ending i was probably the best( :D ).. The early names in AOE @ H4 lore are Norselord, Messiah, Necromancer, Honda, Voldemort.. we were the initial ones to take the leap.. but soon it grew.. it had to grow.. there was no other choice.. The Grandeur of the game cannot be undermined.. u start from 3 villagers and in an hr or so u have a booming economy and a 120 soldier strong army.. consisting of your cavalry, infantry, ranged units, siege and also monks(healers)
Soon there were many.. Firestarter, The Fuhrer, Rattlesnake, Ronin the lion, thunderstorm, Earl of warwick/Duke of York etc.
Others like Voldemort and Honda had become less involved in AOE, engaged in other activities, so they got lifted frm the scene..
Soon there arrived on the scene the prodigal youth Julius.. little did he know, in his early days, that he would be rubbing his shoulders with the likes of veterans Norselord, Messiah, Necromancer in an alliance which after starting frm scratch would go on to become invincible..
But now tht is another story.. At this point ended the period that i like to term as the first age of AOE

So Where were we..

Let me continue my story frm where i last left i.. and stumble into Messiah's last post..
So my comp arrived.. It was barely a PIII.. arnd abt 256 MB RAM.. 4 MB graphics card.. basically junk.. but I loved it.. after finally getting it fully functional(took arnd 2&1/2 weeks and lots of running arnd by me and jaygw) It was a beauty.. hours were spent in front of it watching movies and checking mail for no reason.. just because i could.. jus because i had the power to do so.. and so the first sem ended.. by the time second sem arrived it had become old and boring. something new was needed.. then me, messiah, necro stumbled on a phenomenon waiting to explode.. AOE - The Conquerors expansion aka LAN gaming at its best..
it strted with a few bored lost souls and it went on to engulf half the freshies in a hostel (arnd 30 odd) and tht was it.. we were set for the sem.. AOE as it was requires atleast a full other post or even a full other blog to do it justice... i leave here with a promise of a post in 5 min on AOE

Now,i know...i know.....

What the hell is with these names dude....
I mean,u would think,why would any group of friends actually call each other as messiah,norselord,julius,narcissist and napoleon.
Not unless they were vain insane.....

I'l clarify.
These names be our our respective age of empires pseudonyms.
It began in the second semester....in the dark depths of the post moodi depression (wait for later posts to know what that is:)....when the might and magic of age of empires on the lan was first revealed to us....and it was here that we all united under one banner....it was here that the all existing acquaintances were questioned.....
And New Alliances Were Forged.
It was here that the boys grew into men,and warriors were made of the men.

"This Journey" has been SO long,no1 exaclt remebers where did we really start.
& it has been SO good,we'll end up writtin a fat novel,mayb even a series of 'em.
and to say it is just the begnin,hardly 2 sems,think of all that is to come.

The early days..

Hmm... not tht i remember too much of these days.. its like when on is in infancy.. he tends to forget the smaller memories.. but the imp. ones remain.. so lets see.. ill introduce myself here 1st.. I am Acid Crucifix.. aka Norselord aka hymen.. :D.. when i 1st came to IIt I was alone.. had no friends. Was bored as shit.. then i strted meeting ppl. 1st there was my GOD roomie Sumambo.. then my awesome wingies.. and finally arbit ppl.. who i met pretty late.. to name a few.. Sajid, Vang, ... ... and other ppl.. if i have forgotten anyone plz remind me.. names will be added.
Not many memories till midsems... used to attend lecs.. study once a week.. never bunk.. never proxy.. :O.. but then midsems happened and my comp arrived.. and tht is where it begins for me.. though messiah and narcissist had already had many debacles.. im sure they'll talk abt it.. but the midsems and the comp is where it began.. but thts a huge story and i dont wanna make this post too long.. so later..

Do u know wht this is??... this is the blog as in "THE BLOG"... its gonna make millions one fine day. C'est la vie translates to 'this is the life'.. and thts wht this is.. the life of 5 individuals.. and the truth abt everything.. coincidentally it involves their lives in IIT.. (for those not in the know its an engg. coll.)... It is a journey.. and wht a journey, dude, what a journey..

so we decided to make a record of our excursions.. and here is where it begins,, this fine day of oct. where i screwed up my life by missing a quiz.. but lets not talk abt tht.. it begins in the first yr. when we were young and fresh(chutiya freshies).. but then those were the wonder days :D.
